About

I am a research analyst with J.P. Morgan, covering Non-Agency RMBS within the securitized products research team, where I also interned in 2019. Prior to this role, I was a part of the corporate credit research team, covering High Grade and High Yield Power and Utilities. I graduated in 2020 from The University of Chicago, where I majored in Economics and Statistics, and earned a joint Master's degree in Computer Science in my fourth year of college. My interests lie in research, technology and the markets, which has led me to pursue opportunities at the cross section of Economics, data science and technology. I absolutely love problem-solving and being challenged, and am thankful that I am able to pursue my interests in fixed income research alongside a host of talented individuals.

Throughout my time in college, I was actively engaged in research opportunities in and out of campus. I spent a significant amount of time as research assistant for professors in various fields of Economics, and was a data analyst for the U.S. Peace Corps before landing my current role on the finance side of things. I've loved being able to develop an affinity for quantitative approaches to understanding the real world across various fields, and everyday now I get to apply both these skills and my love for reading and writing to my day to day work. That said, I've always had a passion for education, and am always looking for ways that I can integrate it into my life. I've tutored students all throughout high school and college, and am on the hunt for a way to stay engaged here in NYC. At some point, I'd love to see how I can use technology or technology education to improve classroom performance and financial literacy in schools.

Outside of work, I am deeply involved in the dance world. Having trained in classical ballet, modern and contemporary dance from babyhood, I have been fortunate to have performed on numerous stages at a pre-professional and professional level and participate in the field across different cities over the years. I was Co-Director of UChicago Maya (UChicago's dance company) in college, where I choreographed and performed regularly during the season, on top of managing the logistics of a team of dancers. I continue to train in NYC, where I am now based. I also love netball, water sports, and hiking -- I hope to be able to visit all of America's national parks in my lifetime. Building this website was my first ever self-assigned coding project in the summer of 2017, and I am now well-versed in Python, R and SQL, with experience in front-end web development and some mobile software development. It's been a constant learning process, and that's what's so exciting about this field. Check out some of my past projects below!

A small selection of performances I've danced in and group pieces I've choreographed most recently. The first row features videos of shows I'm proud to have directed, choreographed for and performed in as Co-Director of UChicago Maya for the 2019-20 season. Please refer to each link's description bar for more information on which pieces I specifically choreographed and the nature of each performance.
